How can you condense a story into 280 characters? It isn’t easy, but it is doable. Most formulas include: Protagnist (species/identifiable aspect like kid or grandma, omit names unless famous) + Problem (what do they want & why is it important)+ Resolution (the takeaway)+ Your Story’s Voice. When pitching, think about the tone of your story (funny, lyrical, informative, creepy, etc). Use specific words in your pitch to enhance that emotion.
